His work focuses largely on figures, combining inventive design with a deep study of traditional representations.

He uses perspective to explore the distinctive forms of different figures. Together with meticulous craftsmanship, this gives his relief carvings lifelike presence, graceful shapes, flowing lines, and naturally composed sacred expressions.
